| Application Specialist, Haemostasis (Commercial Non Sales) | | Location : | Central | | Reference : | 3746 | | Description: | Our Client is a major international name in Haemostasis and Thrombosis and have devoted their research and innovative skills to the development of increasingly effective medical diagnostic products and instrumentation. They are represented internationally through a wide network of distributors.
Following healthy growth and success in the UK, they are currently looking for an Application Specialist with ideally a haemostasis/haematology background to offer support to their clients and sales team throughout the south of the UK. The main responsibilities will include technical support, troubleshooting, advance demonstrations, customer training and participation in User Group Meetings.
Min Qualification: BSc Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent
Min Experience: A strong technical background in pathology ideally with haemostasis or coagulation would be preferred.

| Application Laboratory Team Leader (Commercial Non Sales) | | Location : | Central | | Reference : | 3719 | | Description: | Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of Thermal Analysis, sample preparation, HPLC, mass spectrometry and information products for a variety of markets including phama, food safety environmental and fine chemicals.
They are seeking scientist to manage the workflow and performance of a team of applications specialists at the European MS Applications Laboratory in Manchester. The team manger is responsible for co-ordinating the team�s schedule and also undertakes some of the instrument demonstrations, sample analysis and customer training course themselves. The team specialises in small molecule applications using liquid chromatography coupled to time-of-flight mass spectrometers with a particular focus on metabolic profiling, impurity profiling and screening applications.. The laboratory provides support to our sales team and customers in Europe and India and some international travel is required.
Min Qualification: PhD in a life science related subject or BSc
Min Experience: 3 years industry experience with LC/MS in metabolic profiling, impurity analysis or screening applications. Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry and a strong business acumen and at lest 2 years working in a commercial environment are a must.

They are keen to attract a high calibre analyst to carry out analysis employing various analytical techniques especially HPLC and LC-MS/MS.
Qualification: BSc Chemistry
Minimum experience: Experience gained within a CRO or larger pharmaceutical company is highly desirable.
