Our Client is the world technology leader in the development of fast whole blood analysers to support the care of critically ill patients. Compared to any competitive alternative, their analysers have the most extensive stat test menus and deliver these tests in the shortest time at the lowest costs. The Company's pioneering technologies provide the right test menu needed by clinicians at the right cost for administrators. In addition they provide point of care, hand held meters and strip based systems for glucose, ketone and creatinine testing. Whether testing is performed in the central laboratory, emergency department, surgery, critical care area, or respiratory care, they can help improve patient outcomes while reducing the cost of care.
They are currently recruiting a General Manager to head up the UK operations establishing the Company as a leading POC testing provider in the UK market, developing business plans and sales, marketing, service and scientific affairs strategies.
Qualifications: BSc or equivalent in Biomedical Sciences and either an MBA or Marketing qualification
Min Experience: Experience in leading a small to mid-sized UK sales and marketing organisation, ideally with an IVD company together with experience in the POC Testing and/or diabetes/glucose monitoring business.
