To drive forward and accelerate sales growth they have an opportunity for an additional Sales Specialist to generate substantial new business for their tools for Life Sciences based on mass spectrometry, including mass spectrometry instrumentation, bioinformatics software and consumables. The role involves all aspects of promoting and selling cutting edge equipment to life science, chemical and environmental groups in industry and academia. A good knowledge of the challenges of life science research and the application of modern mass spectrometry is a fundamental requirement to fully understand the needs of our customers. A high degree of maturity and personal integrity is expected in a role that requires considerable self-organisation and judgement.

Qualifications: BSc or equivalent in Life or Analytical Sciences

Min Experience: Some postgraduate experience, gained either in industry or during a further qualification, together with some laboratory experience in Mass Spectrometry applied to life science is preferred. Sales experience is highly desirable though not essential for a candidate that is commercially minded, and strong in other aspects.
