Our Client is a highly successful and energetic life sciences company, founded in 1996 and with headquarters in Erlangen, Germany and offices in Germany, Austria, USA and UK. The company designs, manufactures and supplies reagents, consumables and instruments of impeccable quality for molecular and cell biology. They are currently looking to recruit an Export Manager to develop, support and manage a network of international distributors representing and reselling the Company’s products in Europe and Asia. The role will require a long term view towards building strong working relationships with sales companies in other countries. Duties will include interviewing possible partners, training sales teams, assisting in direct sales, supporting day to day issues. These duties will be carried out both from a home office and through face to face meetings in their countries.
Qualifications: BSc/ PhD molecular biology or similar
Min Experience: The candidate will have a strong sales background in life sciences, an interest and experience in travel, particularly in Asia and an ability to empathise and react to business methods in other countries.
