This is an exciting stage in the development and growth of this marketplace and they are seeking a motivated and experienced sales person to cover the UK, Sweden and Norway(mainly UK). Reporting to the Translational Diagnostics Manager, the Account Executive will be responsible for developing new customers in the research area in order to place solutions to automate ISH, IHC and microarrays with a major focus on pharma accounts and large core facilities.

You will be responsible for both new business and the development of the reagent business with existing customers. You will also manage the UK profile by attending congresses and specialised symposiums, liaising with marketing and providing regular feedback on the UK market.

Min Qualification: MSc/BSc Biology
Min Experience: You should be a self starter with existing proven success in selling both reagents and instruments in the pharmacology industry and achieving your sales goals together with specific knowledge of cellular and molecular biology.

They are seeking a Distributor Territory Manager � Europe and South America for a new role to work within the Distributor management team, reporting to the International Sales Manager, based in the UK head office when not travelling.

Main responsibilities:
Independently manage and develop an existing group of diagnostic distributors, located in Europe, Scandinavia and South America. South America will require a high level of support and Development. Motivation, sales, support, training and all other aspects of distributor management, in line with existing company strategies. Achieve set sales targets, and contribute towards budgeting for region
Travel within region in support of distributors, and to International meetings as required - approx. 2 weeks in 4. Within travel requirement will be a minimum expectation of 8 weeks on territory in South America annually. Head office based when not travelling. Liaise over travel and leave requirements with International Sales Manager to ensure maximum cover provided in UK Head office. Development of new markets, and appointing new distributors as and when necessary. Work effectively with rest of TBS team, understanding and working within culture of the company. Work closely with other distributor territory managers, providing support and cover as required. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and actions to maximise business
Participation in monthly departmental meetings as required. Provide weekly, monthly, ad hoc reports as required

Min Qualification: BSc or equivalent in a science sector
Min Experience: A minimum of 3 years relevant sales experience combined with a diagnostic laboratory background and an understanding of distributor functions and practices are paramount to the role. A knowledge of the South American diagnostics market would be desirable as would the ability to operate in and understand multi-cultural environments. Business level conversational Spanish is essential.
